Re: Lampard Sacked
Be careful what you wish for, whoever is appointed Everton manager will not need to do very much to make them a stronger outfit than us! The trash in the boardroom really fail to see what most others can.

European football two years in succession with a small squad, injection of £170m to bring in new players in order to reach the top six. We now sit below the likes of Palace Brentford, Fulham, Nottingham Forest etc and must be favorites for relegation. How in Gods name can this not be seen as abysmal failure by moyes and the clueless rubbish that work alongside him? He cannot even attract decent players, who the hell would want to play for him. Our world turned upside down by stubborn, arrogant, couldn't give a damn idiots!

Re: Lampard Sacked
Let’s face it, we all want Everton to make the worst appointment imaginable. But not for a few days (so they miss the deadline).

I’m hoping they appoint the ghost of Mike Walker.

Nothing against Everton. But we’re in a scrap and it’s good to have “abysmal” around you!

Re: Lampard Sacked
Wouldn't put it past Moshiri to fuck up this appointment aswell
Bringing in Benitez was always going to be disaster and Frank Lampard... 2 appointments that were destined to fail.

Re: Lampard Sacked
I was chatting to a couple of Everton fans at South Mimms services on Saturday morning and he (Lampard) still had the backing of many of them. According to these two scousers, the ire of the fans is directed at the board who have sold the club down the river and a group of players who dont give a shit and are only there for the wedge.

Think the clearest thinng to come out of this is that we wont be seeing Lampard at the top level in England for a good while.

I like the fact that Bielsa is NOT Moyes and that is enough for me.

Re: Lampard Sacked
Don't get the hype with Bielsa apart from being something of a character. Getting on now, doesn't speak English, never won anything outside Argentina and rarely stays anywhere longer than a few seasons.

Pass!

nychammer 4:55 Tue Jan 24
Re: Lampard Sacked
Defence seems to be a bigger problem for Everton (as even we could score two against them in the first half) so not sure Bielsa is their man, would rather be here and galvanize our turgid attack as that is clearly our problem

Kharma Frank you treacherous cunt

Re: Lampard Sacked
Bielsa or Dyche most likely. IMO Bielsa would be a gamble, so hopefully they go for him.

Gerrard and Lampard can now fight over the Preston job :-)

Re: Lampard Sacked
Charoo - spot on. Two top 7 finishes and a Europa semi final, to where we are now in such as short space of time. Moyes could and should have sorted the striker and full back spots ages ago, if the fans can see it then how can’t a professional manager with a 1000 matches under his belt. Moyes is now showing himself up to to be a bitter, arrogant little man. We all need to hope there are 3 teams worse than us and that the board see sense and move him on at the end of the season (it’s becoming more obvious we’re sticking with him as manager)

Re: Lampard Sacked
I wonder how far the media are going to go to paint him as some poor victim of circumstance rather than a poor manager, as seems to be the case.

I wanted bielsa to replace moyes (as the only viable replacement)

Re: Lampard Sacked
Yarmouth I 100% agree with you.

We’ve had worse managers overall but no one has blown it more than Moyes.

No signings last Jan, no one better than Antonio, no replacement CB - scattergun recruitment in the summer, largely wasting the biggest lot of money by far in our history. Still not addressing the full back situation, playing dour negative football, continuously playing out of form players and criticising others, poor substitutions, poor game management and not a fucking clue how to play in other way than sit in. Also neglected to get the team fit to start the season. No appointment of an attacking coach overall no fucking clue. Arrogant cunt to boot.

For me I hate him more than any of his predecessors.

Re: Lampard Sacked
I remember all of the childish comments he made when he went to Chelsea, like wanting to score the goal that puts us down. I also remember a game at the rent boys where he scored running from left to right accross the box going towards the Chelsea fans, he spun round and deliberately celebrated in front of our fans.

There's a certain poetic justice to his being binned after losing to us

Re: Lampard Sacked
Biesla looks like the front runner.

They get an attacking modern thinking coach and we continue with the dour jock cunt or replace him with someone equally depressing.

How many more Clubs are going to give Lampard a chance? Derby = Ok'ish, Chelsea = Fail, Everton = Fail.
